Plot Summary
Set a decade after the events of the first film, After Earth 2: The Fall of Nova Prime follows a matured Kitai Raige, now a highly respected Ranger leading elite missions to reclaim hostile territories abandoned after the collapse of the Earth colonies. Though mankind had once found salvation on Nova Prime, a devastating new threat emerges—not from Earth, but from deep within Nova Prime itself.
An ancient alien species known as the A’Kari, long dormant within Nova Prime’s core, have awakened. With the power to manipulate the neural frequencies of fear (just like the Ursas), they are determined to eradicate all human life. As cities fall and the Ranger Corps crumbles, Kitai and his estranged father Cypher must reunite, both haunted by the past and bound by destiny, to lead a final stand.
