Plot Summary

Set ten years after the epic naval battle that defended Earth from an extraterrestrial invasion in the first film, Battleship 2: Earth Fights Back brings global forces together for a new war — one that spans sea, space, and science.

Humanity has reverse-engineered alien technology retrieved from the ocean floor, sparking the creation of the Naval Defense Nexus (NDN) — a global fleet powered by hybrid energy systems. But peace is short-lived. A distress signal from Neptune’s orbit triggers the return of a second alien armada, this time led by an advanced war tactician known only as The Arbiter (Javier Bardem), whose mission is simple: reclaim the fallen and annihilate the species that defeated them.
